Hardware installation

Follow these steps to install the MRE hardware

Mago Room Essential powered by MeLE Fanless Mini PC

Hardware set up

1. Unbox your Mago Room Essential IoT device

2. Connect all the cables properly, based on your environment as follows (A, B or C):

Case A) Passive display

1. Power cable with EU / UK / US socket

2. HDMI cable from the device HDMI output to the passive display HDMI input

Case B) Interactive display

1. Power cable with EU / UK / US socket

2. HDMI cable from the device HDMI output to the interactive display HDMI input

3. USB-C or USB-A cable from the device output to the interactive display input for touch control

Case C) In combination with a UCC room device (MTR, Zoom Rooms, ...)

MRE Connection Schema - UCC room device

1. Power cable with EU / UK / US socket

2. HDMI cable from the device HDMI output to the UCC device or controller HDMI input (ingest)

3. Connection cable from the device or controller output to the display input

3. Connect the device via Ethernet cable (or skip if you are using WiFi for the internet connection)

Ethernet connection is strongly recommended for a better experience

4. Connect a keyboard and mouse (case A and C)

5. Install the device on the wall using the special brackets contained in the package, or place it behind the display or on the table
